Description:

These hand-carved wooden jugs were traditionally used by the Turkana people of northern Kenya to store and ferment milk. Made from a single piece of wood, they were smoothed by hand and shaped for daily use in nomadic pastoral life.

We love their minimal form and grounded texture. Sculptural, purposeful, and rich with story.
